What would you do differently if you saw a crop production shortfall coming months earlier?

Enterprise operation

Private operations growing rice, sugarcane, oil palm, cassava, or any crop at scale.

Government or public program

Ministries, boards, and national or regional agricultural programs.

Where would you start?

Anticipate food supply gaps and import needs.

Will our major food crops meet this season’s needs? How confident are we in the forecast, which areas drive the risk, and how early will we see a change?

Experience across agricultural markets

Digital Harvest works with producers and processors in Mexico and Latin America, the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Cambodia.

Its most extensive partnership is with US Sugar Corporation in Florida, now in its 12th year. The work has grown from field intelligence into a connected data foundation in US Sugar’s own cloud computing environment, with its team trained to operate and extend it.

In May 2026, when US Sugar faced an unexpected mealybug outbreak, that foundation and connected field data enabled Digital Harvest to assess risks across thousands of fields within a week, helping prioritize inspections.

In development

Your organization could build on its existing systems to develop capabilities around today’s priorities, with a connected foundation that supports new uses over time.

What this could mean for your organization

A trusted data foundation

Consistent records across fields and regions help your teams compare production, assess support and plan for food supply. It is built on validated boundaries and field information, with gaps and inconsistencies identified for review.

You don’t need complete or perfect records to begin. Digital Harvest builds on the information and systems you already have, in your organization’s own cloud environment. Your organization retains control of its data.

One basis for regional comparisons

Models developed together

Predictive models are tailored to your country’s crops, growing conditions and policy priorities, and tested against recorded results across regions and seasons.

Your specialists contribute agronomic expertise, knowledge of regional growing practices and program priorities. Digital Harvest brings modeling tools, engineering expertise and experience working with agricultural data. Together, both teams develop and validate models for your planning needs.

When prediction and harvest differ

AI grounded in your programs

Your staff could ask a question in plain language and trace the answer to your organization’s records.

Reliable answers require significant engineering: establishing how datasets connect, incorporating your terminology and operating rules, and testing responses against actual outcomes. Digital Harvest develops this capability with your experts.

An answer with its regional evidence

One change, several decisions

A production shortfall changes more than the harvest. Seeing it early gives public agencies more time to respond.

Time to organize a response.

Knowing where and when domestic supply may fall short gives agencies more time to prepare.

Imports that arrive when needed.

Volumes and arrival dates can be planned around the expected gap, rather than after it appears.

Limited support where it counts.

Resources can go to the regions where they could make the most difference, with effects on other crops and farmer incomes in view.

This helps public-sector teams assess how production changes affect food supply, trade and support decisions. The same foundation can support future seasons and longer-term agricultural investment.

Deliver. Teach. Transfer.

Your organization’s long-term self-sufficiency is the objective.

Deliver

Build the capabilities your organization prioritizes.

Teach

Equip your teams to operate, maintain, and extend them.

Transfer

Provide the technology, documentation, and agreed intellectual property rights needed for independent operation.

Your team, or another partner, can operate and build on the work. Digital Harvest remains available to develop new models, integrations and specialized capabilities as your needs evolve.
